In this study, the preparation and characterization of three hydroxyapatite-based bioactive scaffolds, including hydroxyapatite microspheres (HAps), amoxicillin–hydroxyapatite composite (Amx–HAp), and collagen–hydroxyapatite composite (Col–HAp) were performed.
