Abstract Purpose of Review Obesity-related metabolic disorders such as metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), metabolic syndrome (MetS), and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) have traditionally been treated as separate conditions.
