摘要: In order to assess the involvement of alpha-1 and alpha-2 adrenoceptors in emesis, the emetic effect of eight alpha agonists was studied in dogs. The i.m. administration of each agonist elicited dose-dependent emesis. The order of potency in inducing emesis was: clonidine greater than oxymetazoline greater than tramazoline greater than naphazoline greater than xylazine greater than epinephrine greater than methoxamine = phenylephrine.
